It seems to me that as soon as Kate Nash came into the attention of the mainstream, the media cannot let her be an artist in her own right.
And just because Lily Allen is also a singer-songwriter from London, they have to be compared.
Just lazy journalism, and it appears that a lot of people have eaten it.
What is Kate supposed to do? NOT have a music career of her own just because Lily Allen got there first, so to speak?
That is just complete and utter garbage. In any case, they ARE different. Kate plays her own instruments, whilst Lily for the main part uses a backing band and/or samples. Lily feels the need to slag everyone off all the time, whilst Kate is very polite, something I can confirm having seen her on tour.
I just say leave them BOTH be, and let them enjoy their respective careers. And don%26#039;t judge one based on the success/failures of the other.

I can only answer this from my experience in MY pond. My Koi nibble off the sides of the lilly pads, as do my Comets. Whenever a new leaf is forming on the plant, one of the %26quot;floating%26quot; leaves or pads, will turn yellow. This is a natural process.
If you see any insects on the lily pads, the Koi and golfish will make quick work of them. My fish actually breech the surface of the water, to take small spiders (Striders-known as floating spiders) and insects that rest on the lily pads.
Maybe if you could tell me what the pads look like, I could help you identify what is natural and what is damage caused by the fish or insects.
Koi%26#039;s just love to nibble on plants. Some people say they will tear them up, but I have not had that experience with my Koi%26#039;s. They just nibble on the roots and do not harm the plants.
Now when my lilly%26#039;s bloom, you can be sure that a deer will visit the pond and take the whole bloom. Pigs...LOL

I found these silicone breast pads called Lily Padz that seal the nipple so it does not leak at all, but do they work that is what i would like to ask before running out and buying some.

Because they apply a continuous pressure, they keep your breasts from leaking, but if you are still working on establishing a milk supply they might make your body think that you don%26#039;t need that milk.

What to do with eaten lily pads?
Hello! I have a small little pond, with lilies in them. We had mosquitoes in the pond eating off the lilies. We bought this chemical that did not harm the plants or water, and the mosquitoes are now gone. I%26#039;m wondering about the lily pads. The small ones seem to be almost dead, they are really eaten up, brown, etc. The larger ones are fine, but they still have little holes among the edges. What should I do with the small liles, and will they ever be restored?

Remove the dead/ dying lily pads. You need to do that no matter what caused the damage, because you don%26#039;t want the leaves decomposing in the water of the pond, Leave the bigger ones, with the little holes along the edges, alone for now; as long as they are still green and healthy looking, they are still photosynthesizing, taking the sun%26#039;s energy into the lily plant itself. Chances are that the smaller plants will come back from the roots, so after removing the dead foliage, just be patient for awhile.

Reach all the way to the top of the pot to pinch off the pad.Do the same with blooms. The water lilies are most likely fine. Lily Tomlin is a housewife, doing the laundry. She may be parodying an ad or something, because she is talking to the camera. She finds lipstick on her husbands collar. That made me laugh so hard. Heck, I remember it 30 years later!

Is it a coincidence that Ginny has the same long red hair, the same popularity in school, and the same courage as Harry%26#039;s mother, or did J.K Rowling deliberately make Lily and Ginny very similar for a reason? If she did, why? And do you think it will be important in the final book?

I think they are similar people, but they are still different and come from very different backgrounds...
Lily is muggle-born, while Ginny is pure-blood
Lily had one sister, Ginny had 6 brothers
Lily was good at charms and Potions, while Ginny is good at Hexes and Quidditch
We only have one view of Lily, while we have many scenes with Ginny - how she was shy and reserved, a fangirl, and then how she grew up. Lily might have been loud and obnoxious before that one scene in 5th year, and we don%26#039;t know much about who her friends were or what she did for fun.
So I don%26#039;t think it will turn out being a big deal, except maybe showing that the Potter men have a weakness for red hair and strong personalities. :-D

Lily and Ginny resemblance?
I think they are similar people, but they are still different and come from very different backgrounds...
Lily is muggle-born, while Ginny is pure-blood
Lily had one sister, Ginny had 6 brothers
Lily was good at charms and Potions, while Ginny is good at Hexes and Quidditch
We only have one view of Lily, while we have many scenes with Ginny - how she was shy and reserved, a fangirl, and then how she grew up. Lily might have been loud and obnoxious before that one scene in 5th year, and we don%26#039;t know much about who her friends were or what she did for fun.
So I don%26#039;t think it will turn out being a big deal, except maybe showing that the Potter men have a weakness for red hair and strong personalities. :-D

Some people think that it%26#039;s Snape%26#039;s love for Lily Potter that made him return to the good side.
He really regreted reporting what he overheard that night at the leaky cauldron...
he didn%26#039;t know Lily was gonna be killed because of it.
He overheard the prophecy that was told to dumbledore by Sybill Trelawney, he reported it to Voldemort which resulted in the dark lord killing Lily and James Potter...
Btw isn%26#039;t it interesting that the prophecy could%26#039;ve applied to both Harry and Neville? They both fit the description as they were both born in July. It could%26#039;ve been anyone of them...

Reply:Book 6 shows us that Snape%26#039;s return to the good side was infact all an act! He is still loyal to Voldemort.
And he killed Dumbledore! I don%26#039;t think he ever returned to the good side. He only acted so that he wouldn%26#039;t have to be in Azkaban. I think he was using Occlumency against Dumbledore, so even old Dumby was not aware of Snape%26#039;s true colors!
