Lily Padz breast pads do they work??

I%26#039;m expecting another baby in the coming months and are sick of the leaking disposable breast pads that alway seem to leak through.

I found these silicone breast pads called Lily Padz that seal the nipple so it does not leak at all, but do they work that is what i would like to ask before running out and buying some.

From what I understand, they work well, but can hinder your milk production if used too much. Because they apply a continuous pressure, they keep your breasts from leaking, but if you are still working on establishing a milk supply they might make your body think that you don%26#039;t need that milk.

They seem really nice to use once you have an established milk supply, for swimming, and for sports and such, but I don%26#039;t know how beneficial they will be initially.
Reply:The idea is nice, but using them at the start isn%26#039;t so great - because when you%26#039;re leaking all the time (like at the beginning), it%26#039;s hard to get the seal tight and then they either slip or you leak out anyway. Later on, when you aren%26#039;t leaking much, they are great.

The washable nursing pads are an option, too. Besides working well, there is no crinkling sound like here is with the disposable ones! I like the Dr Brown%26#039;s ones the best. They are large and stay in place well.
Reply:Yes i think they work better

  1. Lily pads breast pads are a exclusive pads that conforms and fit tightly to the breast. This pad uses pressure to control leakage instead of collecting milk in the pad.
